Ed Levin is open year-round from 8am to sunset for hang gliding and paragliding pilots from student to advanced levels, with specific launch rating requirements. Pilots must follow site procedures, complete waivers, and meet experience and membership requirements. The site includes multiple launches with different wind and rating conditions, a landing zone with facilities, and safety protocols including emergency lockbox and communication recommendations.

Requirements
- Current USHPA and WOR membership required
- Meet all rating and experience requirements for specific launches
- Fly with helmet and emergency parachute
- Visiting pilots must be accompanied by a full WOR member and be 18+ years old
- Valid driver’s license and CA-compliant insurance required for vehicle access
