Wildwood Water Sports kayak and canoe rentals (Located in Shubie Park)

Guests rent canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards to explore the historic Shubenacadie Canal and Lake Charles. The waters are beginner-friendly and dogs are welcome. Safety equipment including life jackets is included with every rental.

- Last rentals depart at 5 p.m.
What's included
- PFDs and safety equipment included with every rental
Requirements
- All renters must be 16 or older or have a parent/guardian complete waiver and accompany them
- Children must be at least 5 years old to ride in canoes; children 2 and older allowed in kayaks when accompanied by adult
- Children must be accompanied by adults who are confident swimmers
- Everyone must wear a properly fitted life jacket at all times
- Renters must be physically capable and free of medical or emotional conditions that could cause harm
