Sailing the waters of Grand Traverse Bay is the highlight of any trip “up north.” Stretching north from Traverse City, the Bay’s crystal waters and tree-lined shores dazzle the eyes and soothe the spirit. The Bay is the best place to be in the summer, and the best way to experience its magic is by sailing aboard Traverse Tall Ship Company’s Schooner Manitou or Sailing Yacht Scout.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: We accept cancellations up to 72 hours prior to the time of your cruise. Cancellation must be made by phone, NOT email. Cancellation within 72 hours of the time of your cruise is non-refundable.

What's included
- Trails are mostly woodchip and well-maintained. None of the beach or water activities include a lifeguard.
- The first drink is included.
- The Evening Sail does not include a meal. Sit back and relax, or join in the fun of sailing the ship - it's up to you!
- The cruise also includes complimentary soft drinks and snacks.
Requirements
- If you want to swim, bring your suit, your own towel, and something dry to wear on the sail home.
- ALCOHOL: Due to our liquor license, you are not permitted to bring any alcohol aboard.
- Cancellation must be made by phone, NOT email.
- If you would like your child to wear a life jacket, and you have a recreational vest style jacket, we recommend you bring it.

Do I need to book tickets in advance?
While we can sometimes accommodate last minute sign-ups, we highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your space. Book online!
