Summit Ranch offers horse boarding in various stall types, riding lessons for children and adults, and a youth apprentice program for ages 11-17. The ranch has direct private access to Mt. Diablo State Park for trail riding. Facilities include indoor and outdoor arenas, round pens, and turnout paddocks.

What's included

• Hay (grass and alfalfa/grass blend), shavings, and cleaning included in board
• Stalls cleaned six days per week (Monday-Saturday)

Requirements

• Apprentice Program for ages 11-17
• New apprentice students must be able to saddle and bridle their own horses and pass the level 1 CHA written and riding test
• Proof of West Nile, Flu/Rhino, Sleeping Sickness, and Tetanus vaccinations required upon arrival
• Apprentices need riding helmet, proper riding boots, jeans or riding pants, lunch and/or snacks
