Sugar Valley Canoe Trips

Guests rent canoes, kayaks, or tubes and are bussed to their starting location for self-guided trips on Sugar Creek. They carry their equipment at the end of the trip to the loading zone. Cabins and tent sites are available for overnight stays with specific rules and capacity limits.

Cancellation: Cancellations must be made 2 weeks prior for trips; 1 month prior for Covered Bridge Festival reservations $20 minimum cancellation fee for cabins; late cancellations (less than 2 weeks) no refund Cancellations called in 5 days before date for deposit return for trips Trips run rain or shine; cancellations only for high water

Requirements

• Weight limit for canoe: 600 lbs
• Weight limit for kayak: 300 lbs
• Weight limit for tandem kayak: 500 lbs
• Weight limit for tube: 400 lbs
• At least one person at cabin or campsite must be 18 years old; no one under 16 without adult over 21
• Children under 6 must have one adult per child; older age restrictions apply at high creek levels
