Lake Needwood Boats

Guests can rent kayaks, canoes, rowboats, and pedal boats on Lake Needwood from May through September on weekends and holidays. A pontoon boat offers 20-minute tours on weekends and holidays between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Private boats can be launched with permits purchased for daily or seasonal use.

Requirements

• Picture ID required as security deposit for all boat rentals
• All patrons must wear a life jacket at all times
• Children must be seated in their own seat in kayaks, not on laps
• Rowboat passengers maximum 5 persons or 800 pounds; passengers must be 44 inches or shorter
• Canoe passengers maximum 3 persons; passengers must be 44 inches or shorter
• Anyone born after July 1, 1972 must have boating safety certificate to operate trolling motor on rowboats
