Laurel Hill Mansion

Laurel Hill Mansion is a pre-revolutionary house built in 1767 at the behest of Rebecca Rawle, a young Quaker widow with three small children. Its fascinating history includes Loyalist, Patriots, and a French Ambassador among others. Owned by the city of Philadelphia and operated by the non-profit Women for Greater Philadelphia the house is open Thursday through Sunday from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
