Requirements

• No kayaking experience necessary for most tours
• Minimum age 3 to ride in double kayak with adult at Santa Cruz Harbor rentals
• Minimum age 12 to paddle single kayak independently at Santa Cruz Harbor rentals
• Minimum age 5 to ride in double kayak with adult for ocean rentals
• Minimum age 15 to paddle single kayak independently for ocean rentals
• Weight limit 250 lbs for sit-on-top singles, 500 lbs combined for doubles, 225 lbs per person for closed-deck kayaks
