Spirit of the Wilderness outfits and guides canoe trips in the BWCA and Quetico, providing canoes, camping equipment, food packages, maps, and route planning. They offer complete and partial outfitting, guided trips, and transportation services. Lodging is available at their Ely facility with shared rooms and amenities.
Duration: 5 days Cancellation: Cancellations must be made 15+ days in advance for deposit refund less $25 or 10% service fee Early returns: charged for days used, 50% refund for unused days or 100% in-store credit Outfitting food, permit/usage fees, and fishing licenses are non-refundable

- Canoes (Aramid kevlar or Aluminum) with paddles, life jackets, portage yoke
- Tents, sleeping bags, self-inflating sleeping pads
- Complete food (3 meals a day plus snacks)
- Complete cook kit and utensils, stove with fuel, matches, fire starters
- Detailed trip routing and maps
- Entry point ground transportation (limitations apply)
Requirements
- Minimum party of 2 for most packages; solo travelers add $10 per calendar day
- Reservations must be made at least 15 days in advance
- Bring personal clothing layers, rain gear, footwear, toiletries, headlamp, medications
- Use own sleeping bags unless renting from outfitter
