Cates Park Paddling Centre offers kayak and paddleboard rentals from May to September, located 5 minutes from Deep Cove. They operate by reservation and have weather-dependent hours. The centre partners with the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation to offer cultural tours.
Cancellation: 24 hours notice required to cancel hourly rentals; $15 penalty if less 48 hours notice required to cancel overnight rentals; $15 penalty if less

Requirements
- Paddlers under 19 must have parental consent form
- 1:1 adult to child ratio for children aged 5-15
- 2:1 adult to infant ratio for infants aged 1-4
- Kayakers under 16 must be accompanied by adult in double kayak
- Solo kayaking prohibited without solo capsize & recovery experience and proof
- SUP solo paddling allowed age 12-15 with adult present; 16+ no supervision needed
