Cades Cove Riding Stables

Guests ride well-trained horses on guided one-hour trail rides through Cades Cove. Carriage rides last 30 to 45 minutes and hayrides last 1.5 to 3 hours through the Cades Cove Loop Road. All rides are subject to weather and trail conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum age 6 years old for horseback riding; riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum height 4 feet for horseback riding
• Maximum weight 300 pounds for horseback riding
• Riders must be able to mount/dismount independently and ride for five miles at walk/trot
• No age or weight restrictions for carriage and hayrides
