Guests paddle tandem sit-inside kayaks through scenic areas including Ballard Locks and Puget Sound, with opportunities to see local wildlife. Tours vary in length from 1.5 to 5.5 hours and include options with lunch. Classes teach kayaking skills from fundamentals to advanced techniques and instructor certification.

Requirements

• Minimum age for tours is 9 years old
• Recommended weight limit per paddler is 260 lbs
• All guests must wear a fitted PFD for the duration of the visit
• Ability to stay calm and follow directions in water required
• Wet suit or dry suit and appropriate base layers required for whitewater and sea kayak classes
• Closed-toed shoes required for whitewater and sea kayak classes
