Alpine Meadows Stables offers guided horseback riding experiences through the Tahoe National Forest, suited for beginners and experienced riders. Rides are led by knowledgeable, friendly guides and use gentle, trail-trained horses. The business is family owned and has operated for three generations. Rides range from short scenic tours and kids' pony rides to private and half-day adventures.

Requirements
- All children must be at least 6 years old for trail rides
- Please notify staff if any rider weighs 225 lbs or more
- Riders should be able to mount and dismount with minimal assistance (two-step mounting block provided)
- Closed-toe shoes required
