The Whale Project

The Whale Project is a non-profit organization that oversees the creation of a life-size bronze sculpture of a breaching humpback whale to be placed on Juneau's waterfront. The project began with a maquette (working model) which is available for purchase in a limited edition. The sculpture aims to commemorate Alaska's statehood and serve as an iconic symbol for Juneau and Alaska.
